President APPS UK, Professor Aamer Sarfraz, called on the newly appointed High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, HE Tipu Usman, on Friday.

During a warm and productive meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, including APPS UK’s longstanding contribution to the Pakistani medical community, its charitable initiatives, and opportunities to further strengthen professional, cultural, and community links between the UK and Pakistan.

The High Commissioner presented a shield to Prof Sarfraz and invited the APPS UK Board to meet with him in the near future and graciously accepted Professor Sarfraz’s invitation to attend the Association’s Annual Gala Dinner later this year.
