APPS UK FEDERAL HEALTH MINISTER SYMPOSIUM: PAKISTAN VISION 2030

  • Dr Fraz Mir, Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine based in Cambridge. He graduated from University of London and Is Head of School of Medicine at Health Education East of England. He has been Associate International Director of Royal College of Physicians of England and has recently been appointed as Chair of BNF Joint Formulary Committee.
  • Mr Nadeem Khwaja, Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He graduated from University of Manchester and is now Associate Head of School of Surgery for Health Education England Northwest Region looking after >700 surgical trainees and Regional Surgical Advisor Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
  • Dr Masood Ahmed is a GP and Chief Medical Officer for NHS Black Country & West Birmingham CCGs. He graduated from Imperial College London and has a head for strategy, a passion for innovation and a commitment to value-based healthcare. Being a digitally focussed healthcare leader with over 20 years’ experience in the NHS, international healthcare and commercial sector, his recent leadership positions include Global Medical Director – Dell Healthcare & Life Sciences, Chief Digital Officer – Health Innovation Network, and Senior Advisor – DigitalHealth, London.
  • Dr Abdur Rehman Shahid, Emergency Medicine Specialist based in Frankfurt, Germany. He works at BG Emergency & Trauma Center Ludwigshafen / Rheine University of Heidelberg. He is also a Heli Doctor and is trained to fly Air Ambulance. His work was recently recognised by the Pakistan Government and he received the Foreign Minister’s Honours Award.
  • Mr Tahir Mahmood is a European Scientist based in Norway. He is known for knowledge based methods to handle complex problems with dynamic process models as exclusive expertise. As a researcher Tahir has been attached to the national projects in Norway and European Union, working as a consultant, developer and project director.
